All pieces are individually hand made and glazed by my two hands only.
Variation in shape and glaze may occur as each piece is unique and this is embraced.
 
Stunning large serving platter, perfect for serving beautiful large salads, roast dinners & shared dishes in the centre of your dinner table.
 
Each piece is lovingly created and glazed entirely by hand, creating a gorgeous organic feel with no two pieces exactly the same.
The surface of each piece is hand-brushed, with four caots of a non-toxic, food-safe white glaze, with a stunning metallic and gold flowing design across the platter. Giveing a tactile feel while showcasing the beauty of its white finish.

All platters are hand made by Diana Connell using a kiln, wheel and local clays. The pieces are made in my small studio in Sunshine North and are completely unique as the clay and firing determines the finish of the piece.
The firing takes place over 2 days with temperatures reaching 1300°C.
The magic of this process means every piece is completely unique!
 
I am a home-grown ceramicist;
my pieces are exclusive to DC Ceramics Studio. To offer the best range of hand-made ceramics for your home I’m working hard to produce beautiful pieces of art for you by hand, so it’s only natural that they might vary slightly in colour and markings. But hey, isn't that part of the charm.
 
Please understand there will be variations in the finish of the item you will receive compared to the product photo. Care InstructionsAll our ceramics are made using non-toxic, food-safe clays and glazes. All our kitchen ware are fired to very high temperatures, making them very strong and durable.
 
This platter is dishwasher & oven safe. Take care to avoid sudden temperature changes (for example from the oven to a cold benchtop) as this is likely to cause thermal shock which can result in the piece cracking.
