DC Ceramics Studio potery is 100% Australian made.
Handmade ceramic planter pot with drainage dish from my Modern Rustic range - perfect for holding succulents, a small plant or growing microherbs. Each planter is made with marbled speckled stoneware clay and decorated with handmade white glaze.
Hand thrown on the pottery wheel, then trimmed, glazed & fired from our studio right here in Melbourne. As each piece is hand crafted, slight variations in shape and glaze will always occur. Whilst these pieces are all thrown and shaped to the same specifications, by the very nature of the way in which they are created, the piece you receive will be uniquely individual.

Planter pot: Approx size:
- Small 12 cm wide and 10.5 cm tall - Dish: Approx. 12 cm wide and 0.5 cm tall.
- Medium 15 cm wide and 15 cm tall - Dish: Approx. 15 cm wide and 0.5 cm tall.
- Large 15 cm wide and 20 cm tall - Dish: Approx. 15 cm wide and 0.5 cm tall.
- Size and volume are measured to the best of my ability but may vary slightly.
- All pieces are individually hand made and glazed by my two hands only. Variation in shape and glaze may occur as each piece is unique and this is embraced.

All Bowls are hand made by Diana Connell using a kiln, wheel and local clays. The pieces are made in my small studio in Sunshine North and are completely unique as the clay and firing determines the finish of the piece.
The firing takes place over 2 days with temperatures reaching 1300°C. The magic of this process means every piece is completely unique!
I am a home-grown ceramicist; my pieces are exclusive to DC Ceramics Studio. To offer the best range of hand-made ceramics for your home I’m working hard to produce beautiful pieces of art for you by hand, so it’s only natural that they might vary slightly in colour and markings. But hey, isn't that part of the charm.
